I have never had red shrimp, but my husband and got fresh shrimp right off the boat in the Gulf of Mexico a couple of times this winter. Would love to do the hike there. We love seafood which is why when we have a few days off we head to the sea, and the seafood in Gaeta was truly exceptional.
If you're on a short visit, the popular beaches closest to the town centre will be the most convenient. Serapo, Fontania, Quaranta Remi, Ariana, Arenauta, San Vito and Sant’Agostino.I know I may wait till my kids are older and take them!Thank you, it was just that very quiet!It looks so beautiful and peaceful there!

I would take a non-touristy spot like this over a touristy crowded spot any time. Gaeta is blessed with several beautiful golden sandy beaches and a wonderful picturesque coastline.
